Empties #1

I always find empty product posts or videos helpful and insightful since you know the user has actually used the product therefore their comment or review on it is legit and truthful.

Since all of a sudden I have accumulated all these empty products I thought it'd be fair to do an empties blog post.

First up is the TRESemmé Heat Protective Spray, I found this product to work well and effectively. Also the smell of this product is subtile but pleasant. It distributes a good spritz in each spray and of course works well with preventing split ends.

Next up is a exfoliating body scrub by Nutrimetics.
I thoroughly enjoyed this product to say the least. I loved the smell and what it did for my skin. It had teeny tiny grains of an exfoliant of some sort which scrubbed of the dead skin cells and revealed a layer of soft, smooth skin.

The Maybelline Express Care Makeup Remover is a generally decent product. It does the job at a fair price tag. I found this product to last me quite a while (for a 90mL bottle) as a little bit goes a long way. Also its great to remove dark eye makeup that didn't come off in the shower and to fix up liquid eye liner mistakes.

Pantene Moisture Renewal Deep Hair Conditioner
Again a fairly decent product, I think there are better deep hair conditioners on the market but again it does the job. But for someone who has thick hair, it wont last very long. I used it every once or twice every 1-2 weeks. I feel it took a while to seal up and repair my split ends but I suppose they all do.

I am extremely sad that my favourite liquid eye liner by Loréal Super Liner in Black has come to an end. This liquid liner will give you ultimate precision and once you get the hang of it, you will be drawing perfect symmetrical winged eyeliner! ahah
BIG thumbs up to this eyeliner and a definite re-purchase.

Last is the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream.
A bit of a love hate relationship with this product, although it smells fairly fresh and floral as well as providing good coverage for a BB Cream (for those of you who haven't a clue what a BB Cream is it provides more coverage than a tinted moisturiser but less coverage then a light coverage foundation) The massive down side to this is that it tends to break me and others out like hell. Although it may be suited for more of a mature skin as my mum uses it and has no problemo ! But unfortunately I wont be re-purchasing this product anytime soon.

I hope you enjoyed this post
Bye for now x

Lusting over Lush

So I've been watching a lot hauls from beauty gurus on youtube lately and they all seem to feature Lush products. Video after video I began to realise that I really want to try out this particular bath ballistic called 'Golden Wonder' - I suppose thats the idea of haul videos, to show the viewer items that might tickle their fancy and encourage them to purchase it themselves- ANYWAY, the other day I found myself in the city, AGAIN and popped into the Lush store to see the goodies they had. After a good look around I found myself lusting over soaps and bath bombs which is strange because I usually go in lush whenever I am in the city and smell all the soaps and what not but never wanted to purchase anything, at one stage all the products wanted to make me gag but I guess they grew on me? Now I just want to own so much more in the Lush store, but here is what I brought from Lush, from left to right - Green Bubbleroon (which I revived for free), North Pole Soap, Golden Wonder Ballistic, Angel's Delight Soap and Popcorn Lip Scrub.

Total cost $33.65
I think the main reason why I didn't purchase from Lush earlier on is because when you walk into the store the smell can be a bit overwhelming and the same with the prices.
Also I find some of the products look a bit intimidating in the sense that I have no idea what the product would be used for but thats what the staff are there for. I'm sure they'd be more than delighted to offer assistance. Also I have realised that the products that I purchased are all from the christmas range, so thats a bit disappointing considering that they aren't available all year round.
Bye for now !

A day in the city

So, the other day my friend and I caught the train to the city to simply browse and having no intention of breaking the bank. Now I think it is safe to say that we gave our purse's a good exercise. So, heres a few photos of our day in pictures.

Havin' a good read with the lush times- The only thing I ever read

Cheeky purchases from Kit and Mac
Mac lipstick in Morange, Mac Fix +, bareMinerals Original Foundation, Soap&Glory The Righteous Butter and Origins Super Spot Remover.

Just a little side note- I'm in love with the glass lipsticks, that I guess you could use as a paper weight :)

Never to early for christmas?!?! the decorations in David Jones are beautiful, I feel like I'm back at Selfridges

Sorry that this post was a short one but I promise a bigger, better one next time
Bye for now x
